2XU Compression Run 2013!!

Hello everyone.. I'm back with another madness day. And this time, i'll be sharing with you about my day over at the 2XU Compression Run 2013..

My lovely dear friend Hajar told us about a job which needed a lot of volunteer for an event. I wasn't so sure what a real event felt like so me and my good old friend Azleen decided to give it a try and opp for it.

Finally the day came and we made our way to the F1 Pit Building which my fusion13 graduation show was held at 3 weeks ago. Reach the site at about 11pm and waited for the briefing to start. Somehow, we all got split up and was assign to different groups

The venue to our briefing and starting point location of the event. Taken at 12 midnight.. haha :D
Making our way to our venue and posting area at 4.30am. We were bored so we took pictures and we sang songs like a bunch of mad people.
We were bored and tired after the marathon were over..

As Hajar was assign to do Baggage area, (where the competitors place their belongings before heading for the competition), me and azleen were assign as Road Marshall for the 21km route. As time pass by, morning strikes and the event beginning very soon. We headed down to our venue point to assume our assign position. As time given and we knew that the 1st marathon starts at 5.30am. So we waited and the 1st runner came by. Knowing that our location and our length position should be approximately 10km. As the 1st runner ran in at about 6.20am which I believe is a African or Kenya man. Haha.. His fitting cut body and long legs looks awesomely fit as he ran pass by..

I was amazed to see many awesome runners running as fast and calmly as they could.
4 hours pass as we waited for the last runner. He was escorted by the Bicycle Road Marshall as they made their way to the finish point.

Someone took a snapshot of me on guard and thats the venue i was posted to... :)
Waiting for the last runner to arrived.

Back to the starting point as the marathon is finally over.
Resting point and the venue which we were walking at 4.30am..
Oh yeah. I think i got stung by many mosquitoes and the rashes just wouldn't go away.
So we made our way back to the starting point and was reluctant that the event were over. Dehydrated by the sun and lack off sleep. We made our way out to find food to fill our tummys. Had KFC @ Northpoint and head our way home. Reach home and slept like a log. I just couldn't take it at all..

KCF to fill our little tummys!!! :D

Look what we gotten for volunteering for the event. Nice Sport clothes from 2XU. Elder sis told me that this is the most popular brand among runners. As it is comfortable and nice to wear.

I look forward to another event as such as it is quite an interesting thing to marshall traffic for the competitors.. But right now,
I just want my sleep!!

Dressing up Little Niece!!

Hello again everyone. Another public holiday for Singapore. It's Good Friday!! I'm not sure why are we even celebrating this day.. Hahahha

Anyway, my cute niece and cheeky nephew came over to hang out over at my house. Since i didn't get to see them for so long. (It's been almost 2 months.)

Time pass as the kids set off to play with the Ipad's and laptop. We then decided to hang out @ Northpoint to hunt for niece's clothes for wedding. Niece father just wanted to get her a nice and pretty dress which she could wear during weddings and events. Knowing where to buy kids clothes, we head up to KiddyPlace to find for her some nice dress and shoes. I love kids clothing. They are generously cute and beautiful at the same time. Even their shoes are awfully cuter!!! Chosen only 2 type of dresses and a pair of pretty shoes. We decided to have dinner at Kopitiam and then head home..

Mum and lil sis looking for niece wedding dress.
That's my cheeky lil nephew with me!!
Lovely and adorable cute dresses..
I feel so jealous after seeing their cute little shoes.. They're definitely the most cute looking shoes ever!!! :D
Even the guys shoes are awfully cuter then i thought!!

That's my Niece, Little Brother and Cheeky Nephew. :)

Upon reaching under my block voiddeck, saw my long long long distance cousin preparing for this wedding. It's decorations and arrangement were very simple but still look somewhat elegant. I love it when a wedding uses a lot of fresh flowers. It'll make the wedding look really fresh and elegantly beautiful.

Lovely wedding decorations... :D

I would cry if any guy would give me a bouquet of either CherryBlossom, Red Roses or Wistri. It'll be the most beautiful present i'll never forget. But well, I guess i'm asking a little bit too much as some of these flowers are kinda of rare to get in singapore. My only wish is to receive 1, but I don't think it will happen at all.. haha.

CherryBlossom, Wisteria and Lovely Red Roses.

Lepakz!!!!

Hello everyone.. Well, another daily post for everyone again.

Decided to hunt for more jobs today. I'm goner go nuts if i have to stay home and rot. It's best to get out of the habit and start working. Anyway, let's put aside about the job hunting.

I decided to hang out with my old girlfriends which i never get to meet for quite a while. (Since i've been very busy with the Fusion13.) So we decided to hang out at the Plaza Singapura and went around the shops like mad people. (I just went there yesterday and now i'm back again. hahaha)

We came across the "Spotlight" shop and hang out at the store to kill some time. Like a bunch of mad people, we decided to go crazy for a while with the materials they have in the stores.

So many DIY items to see and touch. Many costumes for Halloween and many clothes, brushes, stationary for use to buy and make our own creation. But still the costume section has been the most fun area for us to explore. :D

The ladies going crazy over the costumes they have in the store.
More costumes props to choose..
Many other DIY accessories available in the store.

Soon after exploring the store, we decided to chill out at the open stage area just behind the Dhouby Gaut mrt while we wait for another girlfriend of ours to come by. It was quite a chilling and peaceful place to hang about. Although I felt that the housefly and mosquitoes were quite irritating. Hahaha. Left for dinner @ the Long John Silver.

This is actually my 1st time inside this open stage area.. Seems peaceful.
Another Panorama shot of the area we were chilling out.
Plaza Singapura view at night time.

Knowing that we didn't get to meet for so long, we decided to chat like aunties over dinner. Non-stop madness with the girlfriends and soon after that, it became quite late as some of them has house curfew. So we left home. Went on our separate ways as 1 of them stayed in Bedok while the rest of us stayed in Yishun.

Overall it was a fun day. And now i can't wait to meet them again on saturday night till sunday morning. I'm gonner volunteer for a 1day job. (It was introduce by my girlfriend) I can't wait!!! :D

LAN with crazy Nadia!!! :D

Hello everyone.. Another post for another awesome but yet tiring day.

Had a job interview over at Clark Quay but i decided not to fully opp for it until my final graduation are over. For the time being, i shall find others flexible timing job to earn a little of cash and a living before heading into a real job in the future.

Bored to death, I decided to take a stroll down alone @ Clark Quay.

Let's put aside the fuss and tiring day after the interview.

I was bored, walked around at Clark Quay thinking about the future. But i just didn't want to think about it for the time being. So i called out Ms Nadia. A close classmate I have since ITE. We share the same birthday months but a few days apart. We will always hang out and make a lot of noise like nobody's business. Make fun of each other in every conversation. A good friend you would like to meet.

My dear Ms Nadia Ng.. Love it went you're out with her to Lan!! :D
Nadia treat me to a awesome Caramel Macaroons. Thanks Nad!!!

Anyway, Ms Nadia brought along he boyfriend whom I know for quite sometime. We had our little outing over at the Lan shop @ ParkLane Mall. It's has been a while since we last went to play at the Lan.. Maybe nearly 2years?? hahaha.

It has been a while since i last touch these 2 game "Left 4 dead and Team Fortress 2". It took me sometime to get use with the controls again. But finishing a game took sometime also, as we were quite lost and totally forgotten the whole map unlike last time. hahahhaa

Lan ended, as we head up to Plaza Singapura. My dear Ms Nadia decided to treat me to macaroons. I fall in love with its texture and taste. As they are lighter and not thicker then any other macaroons i have tasted. Taste so heavenly that i just couldn't resist it at all... Soon after, we went around Plaza Singapura Mall and Ms Nadia brought me to a antic-like shop. Which i found it really nice.

Interestingly cool and full of antics.. Love the concept of the shop. I got interested with the items they were selling in the shop. Will be visiting this shop again!!

More info about this shop will be type at the bottom of the post.

So many antics and vintage items sold in this store.. I love them all!!
Ms Nadia and her boyfriend in the lovely vintage surrounding.
Such a vintage looking chair.
The outer look to recognize the store if you would like to visit.

I am 3/4 graduated!!! :P

The Academic Transcript record are finally here!! I'm finally graduating from Nanyang Polytechnic as a diploma holder just like my elder sister who is now currently continuing her studies in Nanyang Technological University as a trainee teacher for primary school.

My life story has been the longest within my family. From a EM3 in primary school to Normal Technical in secondary school, Nitec in ITE and now finally a Diploma holder. I am finally satisfied that i could finally reach up to a standard where my parents have spend their entire life nurturing me and my siblings to have a better future. Even though I took the longer way unlike my elder sis whom aces her studies during primary and secondary school. But I learn a lot thanks to my parents encouragement for me to further my studies.

Here's the transcript record i've received from my school.

All I want to do is to actually make my parents proud. Now that I have finished my diploma studies, my parents has encourage me to actually further my studies in University. I told them i'll put on hold on my studies 1st as I didn't want to burden them with the school payment and stuff. So i decided to work and earn a living for the time being before continuing my studies again. I just don't want to make my parents spend their entire savings on my studies.. Should leave the rest of them for my other 2 younger siblings. As i have plan my time,

I'll be working for 2-3years before continuing my studies. I should learn the hard way to earn and use the money wisely. Although in years ahead I have to save for my overseas trip i wanted to go, Driving License which i have plan to take on May/June this year. Maybe future marriage? hahahaha.. We will see who will get married 1st in my family.. :P

Now I can't wait for the Official Graduation day. I can't wait to wear the dress robes as my parents wanted to take pictures with me in those robes.. hahahaha.. How cute can my parents be at times.. :)

p.s: I think it's about time i change the layout of my blog. It's kinda plain.. So i guess i'll customize it more to my liking.. Stay tune!! :D

They have finally end...

12 years has pass.. The only hardcore rock band I love the most has split.
Yes! Split for good!

My Chemical Romance.

My birthday gift from a friend who knows I'm a big fan of MCR!!

I have been a big great fan of this band since I was secondary school. Now the band has finally split up for good. Unsure for its reasons, I just hope Gerard Way (the lead singer of MCR) continues with his awesome comic book called "The Umbrella Academy".

The split up was made as an announcement in their official blog on the 22 March 2013. Here's a link to their official blog.

I just couldn't believe that they have ended their singing career. Even though their 1st 2 albums were definately hardcore heavy metal like songs. But their 3rd & 4th album : Welcome to the Black Parade and Killjoys were just rock songs. Remember their most hit songs such as : "Welcome to the Black Parade, Famous last Words, Helena, Teenagers, Bulletproof Heart, Sing and NaNaNa." These songs will never be forgotten.. I sure many hardcore fans of My Chemical Romance are upset with the splitting. But nonetheless as they have mention in their recent blog post.

" And now, like all great things, it has come time for it to end. "

I gave my respect to this band as they made their split in a respectable way. Salutes to the band.
Maybe they should do a last concert world tour as I never had the chance to catch their concert at all..

They left us with a few new songs and this particular song is the only song that caught my attention.

(To MCR band. Please do a last world tour so that your ultimate fans wouldn't be dissappointed or depressed as you guys have yet to have another concert in many other countries..)

Toddlers are sooooo cute!!!!

Lil Niece came over for a visit over at my crib!! Cute Little Qisya Aqilah family come for a visit!! Omg!! She's soooo cute!! i couldn't resist pressing her chubby cheeks.. Although she's only 7months old, her chubby and cute attitude just made me smile for a whole day.

Let's put the fun and cuteness aside. Since me and my mum went off to buy groceries for the month. My cousin family and my chinese uncle came over to watch the F1 championship since my home cable television has most of the sports channel. So mum decided to cook Chili Crab and Chicken Curry for dinner.

Qisya having fun with younger sister.. She looks sooooo cute!!! >.<
When Qisya aunties gets really excited meeting their cute lil niece and just couldn't resist her chubby cheeks!!
Tonights dinner!!! Chili Crab and Chicken Curry!!
My mum and Qisya parents says that Qisya look like me when i was a toddler.

Artworks!! :D

Hello everyone.. I've been staying at home to do as many coloured characters design as i could. Didn't want to leave my portfolio blank since fusion is over. So here are my works which I did these few days. I really want to be exposed to as many medium as i could.

Maybe once when I get a job, I'll start buying as many mediums as i could. But for now, i shall practice on watercolour. It may seem easy to certain people. But the truth is. it is never easy to begin with. Blend and adding colours to make shades of watercolour is never easy at all.. I had to actually watch some tutorial in youtube. As some of their tutorial seems reasonable for me to try and work out.

Will be doing more as time comes and pass... Hope you like it!! :D

Guess what. The cousin outings has been postpone to this saturday. Since most of them are working. I look forward to it.. :)

Awesome animations!!!

Its awesome to love a subject which 1 has always wanted to do since small. And when you are exposed to such world, 1 will explore more. When an awesome animation and awesome story comes by, an awesome movie is produced. Here's a animation which i would like to catch when it comes out in theater!!

Cloudy With a chance of Meatball 2 - coming to theaters!!!

Love its character designs and exaggeration for animation. I would love to accomplish such quality in the years to come. But for now, i shall focus on getting profits and building up my 3D model/animation works. Nothing else has spark my inner heart into animation until i saw this movie. Its possibilities to explore more quality and exaggerated animation urges me to do draw more. Although I will need to recover from my restless nights during my portfolio development which lasted for more than 1 month.  With that I hope you will catch the animation in theater too!!! :D

Weddings and Cousins outing!!!

Yet another cousin is getting married!
Yet another loving couple finally getting together!

Anyway. It was a simple wedding for these 2 couple. Simple decor. simple food, simple family and simple life. It was still a beautiful wedding nonetheless. Beautiful speech by both couples which actually made the bride cry while giving her speech. Lovely wedding it was. My wishes for both couple to have prosperous lives ahead. More challenges will emerge as time pass.

Full photos for the wedding event will be available Facebook and the link just underneath this sentence:

The guys and girls of my mum's family!!:D

Well... Here's another thing. Me, my siblings, cousins and nephew decided to sneak off from the wedding as we were really bored to death doing nothing. We decided to hang out at Swensens @ Jurong Point and have ourselves a bite on Earthquake!!! But still.. i still couldn't believe that we could actually fit in 7 people in a Nissan Verna car (cousin's car) and make our way to Jurong Point. (Actually she could use my dad's car Toyota Axio to fit in 7 people as dad actually asked my cousin to drive with but she insist of using her own car. Hahaha) Mum and dad told us that we were sardines squeezing 7 people into the car.. I still love my siblings, cousins and nephew a lot..

Cousins!!!! :D

Ourselves at Swensen's @ Jurong Point. Love them a lot!!

Thats me and my dearest cousin.. The Hijabster and the CameraWomen.. Hahaha

Can't wait for our next outing this coming Friday!! :)
