Picnic @ Botanic Garden with the Mixed Blood People!!!

I'm back with another post. And this time, we're heading to Botanic Garden for a picnic. Even though we are from the same race. The fact that these people that i hang out with are "Mixed Blood!!".

It's awesome feeling to be a mixed blood. With a little bit more understanding from other culture and race in
our blood. (Such as me, having a Chinese and malay blood within me.)

Anyway, today's picnic wasn't really completed at all. But i'm happy that they showed up to have fun. I admit, we did have lots of fun.. Under the awesome weather and greenery grass. Feeding ourselves to junk food. Although i made egg mayonise and brownies for everyone.

(To be exact, there were suppose to have 6 people including me.) But i'm thankful for these people who came and made me smile. Thank you guys!!

 Let's go hiking really soon!! :)

Hiking at Bukit Timah Nature Reserved!!!

Hello everyone!! It's been a while since i last write a post. I have been busy with work and my own social life. Did i even mention that my dearest laptop has finally died on me a few weeks ago. With that, i couldn't do any digital artworks or anything until i get a new laptop in the future.

Anyway, I had fun today. Me and Sumii decided to hike up at the Bukit Timah Nature Reserved. Another area I have never been before in my entire life. Not knowing the route to the venue. Not having a vehicle to drive ourselves to the venue. Taking the bus and getting lost in the middle of nowhere.. Hahaha.. Somehow, such events happen when i became too excited in visiting new places.

Finally, able to reach the venue with a little help from my lovely Nokia lumia 710 Nokia Map and Drive app. We made our way into the nice forest environment feeling. Not knowing the roads at the area were pretty steep, we made our way up like mad people. Upon reaching at the top of the venue "Summit" hike, it felt really good!! Able to breathe in fresh air under the hot and breezy wind. Exploring the area can be a little tiring, but it was worth after having a heavy breakfast. Water was all we needed the most.

I just wished we could have known this place a little bit more better. Could have hike up to many places. But since we were unfamiliar with the roads, we decided to try out the normal route around the area. Maybe in our next visit, we will explore the entire place for the whole day.

p.s: Inner peace was found in a new place. I never felt this happy when i saw that view. Not knowing that i was with it for so long without even realizing it. Thank you nature. You made me smile alone while i was hiking up to the summit. I felt happy once again.
