Captain America & Fusion 14

Hello everyone. Finally back with another event weekly post.

So, I kick myself out of bed, doing house chores and getting ready to hang out on my own. (So called "forever-alone) Made my way to Plaza Singapura. Checking the movie seating vacancy and time slot, I manage to grab a 2nd row from the back seat.

Went into the movie theatre to be in a weird position. The movie theatre was mostly filled with couples. Making no fuss over it, the movie started.

The movie started from 1.30pm and ended at 3.45pm. It was that long. But totally worthwhile watching a 2nd round. (Call me if you guys, my friends* wanna watch. Totally worthwhile!!!)
Make my way to Singapore Expo via train for the NYP Fusion 2014 show.

Upon reaching at the venue, as I head into the area, it felt weird. (Usually, my friend Sumii would come along to any event. But because she was working till late, she could not make it.) A weird feeling entering an exhibition all alone. Went around looking for a friend, Mr Arfandi who was a staff aka "lecturer" working at the event.

I guess the "gundu" me didnt realize that the alumni show actually starts at 7pm. In which I came at 5pm. (Wow, Good job!) So I decided to have a snack or two while waiting for the rest to arrived.
At 7pm, familiar faces started showing up. Be it, coursemates, classmates, junior or senior.
The event was really impressive. (I guess a little better than the Fusion 13.) But hey, the juniors did pass and sore high with flying colours. I was really impressed with the children's book the junior made.

Hours passes, the day became darker. As it was already past 9pm. As I made my way back home alone. Searching for a bus to direct me to Tampines. Which I actually slip and twist my left ankle as I walk (limped, but didnt wanna make it too obvious eventhough it hurts!) way throughout the journey back home.

Upon reaching home, opening my boots, having to realize that I was actually bleeding kinda badly. (The socks I was wearing holded up the bleeding area.) Had to wash and cover it with big plasters.
Not liking the smell of Iron from fresh blood as I had a terrible or would say the worst reaction of fainting over a simple thick and yet tiny drop of blood. (Too pungent for me to handle!!)
Well, all those walking and bleeding made me really tired. Refreshing myself and heading straight to bed.

Well anyway, to my graduating juniors. Well done! I am quite impressed with all of the works at the event. Many caught my attention and many have a way to go even higher. Well done to the graduating student of 2014. May you be able to extend your dreams and carry on with everything you have learn!!

Hahaha. Enough chatting. Its time for photos!!!

Pray MH370

In the deepest and most desperate measure. With the recent tragic accident of malaysia airline MH370.

Many families were effected. Many tears flows downwards. Many seeking for a definate answer. Many praying for the plane to be safe and return.

In the deepest and saddest news given out a couple of days ago. Indicating that the plane has directly ended in the Indian ocean.

An ocean so big and so deep. Not saying it is impossible to find them. But rather would take time to find and retrieve them. Being dead or alive.

Such event has happen to singapore too. (From research.) Silkair flight 185 crashed into the Musi River, in southern Sumatra Indonesia on December 1997. Which killed 104 people on board. Only 6 positive identifications were later obtained from the few recovered human remains.

Nobody knew what really happen to the plane. Many assumptions, many conclusion. No concrete evident. With families demanding the truth and the malaysian government trying so many ways to find the plane.

I do understand how these families feel losing their love ones.

My prayers goes to the effected families of the deceased crew and passanger on board. Hope everyone will stay strong.

Only allah (god) knows and will guide them peacefully.

La Marelle Cafe hunt!!!

Hello everyone!! Finally I'm back with another post after many busy schedule, mini celebration and falling sick recently.

Back with another post. This time, me and a good poly friend of mine decided to hunt for cafes!! Yes! Thats right!! Cafes all around singapore.

Doesn't anyone gets tired with Coffee Bean and Starbucks? Doesn't anyone ever feel the need to hang out in  a newer environment, cute cafe, with friends, chatting non-stop over tea, coffee and desserts? Sometimes, all we youngsters wanna do is to hunt for a little dessert.

Little did i know that the Bugis has become a known area for mini cafe. Mostly halal cafe, extremely cute and mostly popular among the ladies. Sweetness madness over cakes, macaroons, sweets and other desserts.

Finally found the place we were looking for. Simply adore its style, people and place. Really such a cute, retro and warm area to hangout with your friends. The best part, it is a malay cafe.

La Marelle Cafe area...

Inner cafe style and area
It's our 1st visit! We are really excited to try the desserts and drinks available in the cafe!!
Check out the cute bags they were selling at the cafe. Really damn cute!!

Ordered: Ice Mocha, Ice Chocolate, Balgium Chocolate, Cream Cheese Cake and couple of macaroons!!
Mango Macaroon!! Loving it!!

Cuteness level on vintage accessories is terribly madness in my point of view.

Camwhore session!!!
That's us!!

Time to hunt for more delicious and cute looking cafe. Maybe i should hunt for some waffles and ice-cream cafe next! For more information and address about this cute cafe, do visit its website and its cafe!!!

Wedding by the Sea....

Just another beautiful, hot and bright weekend. Just another day of joyfulness for a couple in my family tree. Another new chapter has started. As they take their wedding in a open sea view venue.

My lovely cousin Kak Izza wed day. The wedding location took place at the Gurame Restaurant @ Changi. Near to the Tanah Merah SAFRA. With a shutter bus being brought into the venue every 30mins ( I guess it can be quite far for families without any transportation of their own.)

As the venue is simply quite breathtaking for a wedding venue. Simple but yet stunning from my own point of view. Driving me crazy to venture around the venue just to snap some shots. But yet I didn't really snap as many shots as i would usually during a family event such as wedding or baby shower. I was quite tired out as the heat reaches right into our skins. (Damn Hot day!!) To only make our way to simply reach out for cold drinks to cool ourselves down. Although the wind did came for a little while, the sun just made us all dried for good. hahahahahaha!!!

With the elderly asking both me and my elder sis about our wedding plans. We stared. Simply told them we would like to focus on our career 1st. (More like I didn't wanna get married at all. Didn't wanna tell a grandmother story. So i'll just make it short. hehehehe)

Escape ourselves to a cooling treat to awesome Chendol. 1 of the best chendol I have ever tasted ever since I had at Melaka. Its coconut milk and gula melacca is simply just too awesome!! Countless of bowl taken. Non-stopping myself from grabbing the bowl all of the time. (Gosh!! I am so going to add more weight into myself!!)

Nonetheless, as the sunset sets and my family decided to wait till the wedding is over. I did get a short glimpse of the beautiful sunset. (Sorry guys!! I didn't take a shot of it!! I was staring at the lovely sunset as my cousin walks down the path with her wedding gown.) Simply breathtaking!!

Not to mention!! Tiger Lily flower are now my favourite flowers now!! Not because it is a lily flower family. But because its the only flower that has the brightest orange colour i have ever seen!! Gosh!! Just too beautiful!! hahahahah!!

As i have mention above, I didn't manage to snap as many photos during this wedding. But i'll upload the photos in my personal Facebook account. So look out for it!!

Here we go!! Photo time!!

Too many sweet treats!!

Just stunning!!

The stunning open sea view of the wedding venue!!
Kids just love the airplane.

That's our lovely couple!! Happy Wed!!!
Dad's family again. Well as per usual, Not everyone is here.
Chendol SHIOK!!!
Sunset about to fall!!

Weekends with mum's family.

Back with another weekend. With 2 places and function to attend too. Both from the same family tree.
Celebration for the little kidz. A baby shower and a birthday celebration. (Sorry guys, didnt have time to take a few snapshots for the baby shower as my family arrived later in the noon)

The birthday celebration was quite simple. With lovely cake made by my very own favourite cousin. Gosh.. its very cute and pretty at the same time.

Time for the photos!!!
