Hey hey hey!!! I'm back with another new adventure!!! Well it isn't really an adventure at all. It's just another typical day of photography session with a good friend of mine..
Yes, it has been a while since i last went out for a photography session. But since school has ended, now i have the whole time in the world to go out for a a photography session on my own or with friends. Anyway, me and a close friend from polytechnic, Sumii, went down to Henderson Wave Bridge for a evening sky photography. Tick-tock-tick-tock.. Its only 2pm and the sky view outside my room window look damn cloudy and could rain anytime. Well, it didn't really rain at all.. Just drizzling rain continuously raining lightly.
Since I didn't want to stay home, I just went ahead with the plan. Not knowing how the weather was in town, i received a msg from Sumii saying that it was raining heavily in town. Well, still proceeding with the plan, I prayed hard that it won't rain over at the Henderson Wave Bridge.
Took the train and reach Habourfront station and left for the venue as soon as Sumii reach. Took bus and finally reach our destination. Well, it didn't turn bad as we have expected it to be. Although I still find the staircase up to the bridge can be quite dangerous if one doesn't walk carefully. Oh ya... For the ladies, if you would like to make your way up to the Henderson Wave Bridge, here's a piece of advice:
Don't Bother Wearing high heel shoes!! You're goner hurt yourself!!
Trust me.. I've been going up to the area countless time, so i somewhat know the situation of the venue is like. Just take my advice and you'll understand why.. :D
So, as we reach, went to find vending machine to quench our thirst and lead our way to find a seat to relax. With the sky rather breezy and cooling. We relax ourselves on the resting area like as if we own the place. Haha.. Share each other situation and problems. Laugh our ass out. Things could have been better if everyone was there to share each other stories.
As evening pass, we took as many photos as we could. Having fun with our little DSLR cameras. Soon we head back to Habourfront and had our dinner at Macdonald. Still talking none stop.. Then make our way home...

Grab some drinks to quench our thirst. |
Its time to chill out and wait for the evening sky to appear. |
Chilling out with Sumii before evening sky appears.. |

Panorama Shots I took on my phone.. I love my Windows Phone!! :)
ok, if some of you are wondering how to get the Henderson Wave Bridge. Here are some routes which you can take to get to the venue:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Henderson Wave Bridge
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
- Alight at Habourfront Mrt Station.
- Proceed to Exit D (Go to the bus stop just outside of VivoCity and not the opposite of Vivocity)
- Board on bus 131 or 145
- Alight down about 4 stops. (Look "Up" out for the Bridge on the right side of the bus.)
- Then cross the road and you will see a long staircase. (Roughly 50-100m up high.)
- Once reach the top of the stairscase, turn left and walk your way to the bridge.
- Destination reached!!!
p.s: I felt calm as the breezy wind blows to my face. Putting aside my worries and troubles. I place myself into a situation where i could feel calm and didn't think of anything else. I guess bringing me "Up on heights" calms me down a lot more. After being so frustrated with myself for far too long, that ease feeling i had once again made me feel thankful and happy once again. I guess photography was my only way to get away from everything i didn't want to face at all. Fears and phobias is what I hate the most...
