Singapore NIGHT FESTIVAL 2016

The annual arts night festival is finally here.
As its changes theme every year..
From themes to colours to dances to graphics and many more...
A 5th year for me to explore the night festival or so...

What's more, to be able to hang out with your very own family member still rocks the most!!!
Having to bare the same age, same blood flow and same craziness we foretold.
1 who saves lives and the other who teaches lives.
Makes a duo team where nonsense just stumble us or so...

Came straight after work as it was nearby the festival.
As the night fall, we made our way along the pathway towards the venue.
Seeing and entering those with the night festival icon building or events as much as we could.

Great performances.
Interesting display of lights outside National Museum Singapore.
The differences: 1 asking for war. The other 1 just couldn't bother.
Our passport wefie photos. :D

Lights and sparkles everywhere.
New performance and people along the road.
Walk from The Cathay - SAM -SMU and many more.
Seeing a market and food fair in the festival.

Night Festival food area smack in the middle of SMU.
Tons of food stall to see and try.
Each time we meet. A ootd is a must indeed!!
A late night supper to end our day.
Makes everything a sweet summer date.
A late night chat to end out day.
Making both of us enjoy our very day.

Late night supper @ EighteenChef

Can't wait to plan for more outing with cuzzy.
It really has been a while since we last hung out like this.
It may be short and late.
But that's what makes this a sweet and simple date.

See ya soon cuzzy!!  😁😁😁

Future World: Where art meets science

Back with another post.
Another weekend of a productive week.

Decided to invite bestie and her bf out for a little magical lighting and pokemon hunting.

As we head down towards Art Science Museum right beside the Marina Bay Sands.

Wore a pretty dress which I have long wore it.
(Wore it for a colleague wedding many many months ago.)
Purchase our ticket and entered into the exhibition.

It was a interactive experience.
It wasn't so much of a light show.
It does interact with kids.
Because kids just love colourful lighting.

To be able to control projection with an actual figure place on the desk.
To be able to see mythical digitalize projections.
And at the same time, to adore the how art and science works together.

That's the couple. Known them since ages.

The journey inside the exhibition wasn't that long as I thought it would be.

As it ended with a beautiful pathway which many would say,
"Pathway to heaven".

It was just too surreal and magical for me to exit the pathway.
Taking as many candid photos as we can before exiting the exhibition.

Shine bright like a diamond

After a hour long of "model-wanna-be" we had our lunch at our favourite restaurant spot.

Swensen's @ Marina Square.

Head out to hunt some pokemon.
Moving one shopping mall to another shopping mall.
(From MBS to Marina Square to Suntect City to Millenia walk and back to Suntect City again.)

Planning to go on a hiking trip on out next meeting.
Separating to make our way back home as it was getting late.
Hopefully, the next meet up would be as fun as this meet-up session.

Hiking/Trekking at Southern Ridges Park Connection

Back with another post.
Another field trip for myself again.
A solo hiking/trekking around the Southern Ridges area.
Which was situated near Habourfront.
Downloaded the hiking trail as a guide for me.

Made my way to the starting point at the Marang-trail just outside of the habourfront Mrt.
Hike my way up to the 1st point. Faber Peak.
After countless narrow flight of stairs. Sweat and painful leg muscles.
In which return. you get a pretty view of the scenery right above.

Next, making my way towards Jewel Box.
As high as it seems.
The view was still awesome!!

Hike up towards Faber Peak

That lonely seat but the beautiful view

Looking out to the sceneries

Mount Faber peak cable car view

Walking downwards the spiral hill towards the Henderson Wave bridge.
I took a wrong turn but eventually made it.
Took a rest to replenish myself before heading off,

Still walking downwards towards Giant Trees and Forest walk.
It was a long 2.1km walk on a high trail right above the tress.
As you look down thinking how far will it take to reach the ground?
Onwards!!

Crossing the Singing Forest and listening to the lovely chipping of birds.
As I walk cross towards the Alexander Arch.
It was a short trail, estimating about 100m.

Here's my POTD
OOTD
Garden Terrace
Tree top walk
Just me hiking out

Crossing the bridge towards Hort Park.
Interestingly, the places has changed indeed since I last visited.
More butterflies roaming around as I believe could have been their season.

As I walk deeply into the area, passing by another section.
In which i had to hike up a spiral-a-like steep slope. (Canopy Walk)
Bringing me towards the Kent Ridge Park.
Tired and thirst for more water.

Last few KM. I need to take a selfie
Map of the Southern Ridges right after Hort Park
The day is getting hotter. I need to move faster.
Final Destination reach. Time to enjoy the windy weather and sceneries

Knowing that I could hike up,
I shall try my best to make it as a weekly routine to do a little bit of hiking.
Not many knows that I love sceneries and the best places to see them to is go hiking.

Where 1 will learn to appreciate the area surrounding.
Cultural, animals, fruits and how a living should live.

Let's hope I will be able to commit such hiking trips every weekend.
FIGHTING!!!
