Back with another post.
Another field trip for myself again.
A solo hiking/trekking around the Southern Ridges area.
Which was situated near Habourfront.
Downloaded the hiking trail as a guide for me.
Made my way to the starting point at the Marang-trail just outside of the habourfront Mrt.
Hike my way up to the 1st point. Faber Peak.
After countless narrow flight of stairs. Sweat and painful leg muscles.
In which return. you get a pretty view of the scenery right above.
Next, making my way towards Jewel Box.
As high as it seems.
The view was still awesome!!
Hike up towards Faber Peak |
That lonely seat but the beautiful view |
Looking out to the sceneries |
Mount Faber peak cable car view |
Walking downwards the spiral hill towards the Henderson Wave bridge.
I took a wrong turn but eventually made it.
Took a rest to replenish myself before heading off,
Still walking downwards towards Giant Trees and Forest walk.
It was a long 2.1km walk on a high trail right above the tress.
As you look down thinking how far will it take to reach the ground?
Onwards!!
Crossing the Singing Forest and listening to the lovely chipping of birds.
As I walk cross towards the Alexander Arch.
It was a short trail, estimating about 100m.
Here's my POTD |
OOTD |
Garden Terrace |
Interestingly, the places has changed indeed since I last visited.
More butterflies roaming around as I believe could have been their season.
As I walk deeply into the area, passing by another section.
In which i had to hike up a spiral-a-like steep slope. (Canopy Walk)
Bringing me towards the Kent Ridge Park.
Tired and thirst for more water.
Last few KM. I need to take a selfie |
Map of the Southern Ridges right after Hort Park |
The day is getting hotter. I need to move faster. |
Final Destination reach. Time to enjoy the windy weather and sceneries |
Knowing that I could hike up,
I shall try my best to make it as a weekly routine to do a little bit of hiking.
Not many knows that I love sceneries and the best places to see them to is go hiking.
Where 1 will learn to appreciate the area surrounding.
Cultural, animals, fruits and how a living should live.
Let's hope I will be able to commit such hiking trips every weekend.
FIGHTING!!!
